Voter Outreach Event (JVP weekend of action)
Do you want a representative who puts YOU before Wall Street? We want to make that a reality!
Saturday, May 7th, volunteers and co-conspirators are gathering at a supporter's home to make a BIG push for voter outreach before ballots drop May 9th.
1) Do you like making calls to voters? Great! Bring a charged laptop.
2) Do you want to talk to voters face-to-face? Join our door-to-door canvassing team! Bring comfortable shoes and a charged phone.
3) Do you have good handwriting? Relax and write postcards! Handwritten postcards are one of the most underutilized outreach tools we have! Donations for pre-stamped postcards are suggested, but not required!

Canvass and Backyard Movie Night
First, we connect over our ideals and work for a better world (one without capitalism), and that’s why we’re going to canvass voters.
Then, we watch the Oscar-winning film, Parasite, a phenomenal movie that serves as a strong critique of this scourge on the Earth-- capitalism (perhaps you've heard of it).
No movement was ever built without song, dance, or art; this movie can serve as a good dialectic for those who are socialists, socialist-curious, or just straight-up done with whatever the hell is going on (perhaps hyper-financialization of our entire economy and livelihoods that has created a de-facto plutocracy here in the U.S.).
