Valley Harmony Project (VHP) was launched in direct response to the alarming increase in rates of opioid overdose deaths among unhoused Angelenos and our broader community, especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In this initial phase, VHP is focused on securing funds to purchase the life-saving opioid overdose reversal drug, Naloxone, and fentanyl testing strips - two critical resources to reduce opioid-related overdose deaths and increase access to care for people who use drugs (PWUD).
Individuals and organizations are invited to join the VHP partnership. Joining the partnership can be as simple as committing to spreading the word about VHP and as involved as being an on-the-ground partner helping to distribute harm reduction supplies in the San Fernando Valley and LA.
