Rally for Afghanistan at Brad Sherman’s Office

Today our Afghan community members held a protest outside Congressman Sherman’s office to highlight his failure to advocate for asylum for our Afghan siblings & his continued support for endless wars in the Middle East. I was honored to join & speak about our progressive campaign for CA-30 in 2022. Enough is enough. We must divest from U.S. imperialism, endless wars, and the military-industrial complex. But instead, MOCs like Rep. Sherman are working on a $38 billion increase to the Pentagon budget. We deserve corporate-free representatives who advocate for our communities, not the profits of weapons makers.
