Shervin Aazami for Congress is seeking artwork created by San Fernando Valley artists to feature on campaign literature such as flyers, brochures, postcards and other items such as t-shirts, digital marketing, and more.  

Selected artists will be featured on www.shervin4thevalley.com and will receive $300 in exchange for the rights to use the artwork. 

Artwork should represent the values and policy priorities of Shervin Aazami for Congress’s progressive political coalition, available at: https://www.shervin4thevalley.com/issues. See below for a few themes to help guide the style of artwork we are looking for:

• Community/Solidarity

• Black Liberation

• Tribal Sovereignty

• Working Class

• Advocacy 

• Compassion/Healing

Please submit the following with subject line “Campaign Artwork” to shervin4congress@gmail.com by March 2, 2021 to be considered. 

• Artist’s name 

• Brief artist bio 

• Artwork as a graphic (if selected you must submit the piece as high resolution) 

• Brief description of the artwork 

There is no limit to the number of pieces submitted for consideration. All artists will be notified of selection by March 15, 2021. The number of selected artists will be determined based on the submissions received.  While not all artists may be selected, all artists who submit artwork will have an opportunity to partner with Shervin Aazami for Congress by linking their websites/shops to www.shervin4thevalley.com.
